The 20/20 Magnetic Tippet Threaded is Designed to thread a wide range of fly sizes and works great on flies with or without beadheads. The threader uses a strong Rare Earth Magnet to hold the fly while you run the tippet through the grove. Molded from durable lightweight UV rated vinyl and includes D-Ring Clip to attach to lanyard or zinger. Threader Instructions: 1. Place the fly in the depression with the eye perpendicular to the groove. 2. Slide the tippet down the groove toward and through the eye about an inch or two. 3. Grab the tippet on either side of the fly, lift from the threader and tie the knot.

This product might be good for bare hooks as shown in picture but it is poor for flies. The fly material (fur etc.) gets in the way and/or the tippet must be perfectly straight and stiff.
Fly fishers should get magnifying glasses like Gudebrod Fold Away Glasses Optical Range: +2.00 and you'll be much happier.
