I bought 4 of these as awards to kids, then taught them how to use the gear.

The release levers on the spincast reels broke on two of the reals within the first minutes of use (they all broke eventually). It's fixable (but not by kids). We also had problems with two of the fly reels. It's nice that line is included for all three reels, (though you'll have to wind the fly line yourself), but basically the reels are junk.

Had problems with only one pole when we couldn't separate two of the sections. Liquid soap ultimately resolved that problem, and you'll want to use some sort of lubrication on the section ends to avoid the same.

If you're looking for a solid, reliable outfit this isn't it.
