Customer Rating: Summary: Real Piece of JUNK 2008-10-24 Comment: I have used many oyster knives over the past 50 years. I know how to do this. This has to be the most usless thing I ever tried. The blade is too wide and to thick. The handle is too small to ger a real good grip on. It will not slide into the oyster and when you finely get the thing open this knife is too wide and thick to slice the oyster loose. It also slips causing cuts on your hand.
Save your money and get a real oyster knife with a thin blade and larger handle. This thing is only good for opening paint cans.
