But it still stained my white pants. Be careful with this belt since the dye or whatever it is will make the clothes you wear the same color as the belt.

My Favorite Belt,
October 10, 2006 Pyrrho (Chicago, IL) - See all my reviews
While I have had some problems with my other Columbia belt (a reversible), this belt is a personal favorite. The leather is thick, durable, and flexible. The buckle is sturdy and has a good heft to it. I particularly like the belt with jeans, but on occasion I wear it with khakis or casual slacks. Another reviewer noted that the belt bleeds. I have not had this problem, but as the back of the belt is unfinished, I can imagine that in some leathers the dye would not adhere as well.

This review is from: Columbia Mens 32mm Oil Tan Belt With Nubuck Padded Inlay (Apparel)
If you like gadgets and few of them need to be carried in your belt, this is the toughest one you will find. It is strong and does not wear out easily. My husband has this belt for 4 yrs, and now is when starting to show some wear; so, I'm ready to buy the same one. He usually carries GPS, Gerber's tools, digital camera, cell phone, and others at once.
