Because of the incredible amount of power generated by the rod, it?s important to match the correct tip to your casting style. While the rod wasn?t designed for fishing, if you want to do so we suggest using a #6 or #7 line with the rod. The ECHO2 9?0? #5DC was designed for advanced distance casting and competition. The rod has three low-friction SIC stripping guides to reduce friction during extreme overhauling. It also has a down-locking anodized aluminum reel seat to "lengthen" the rod for casting.
