Fishpond Dragonfly Chest / Lumbar Pack

I bought this for a trip I took last wekend to fly fish the San Juan, in northern New Mexico. I wanted to have enough room for what little fly-fishing paraphernalia I needed, plus some Cliff and Lara bars, and some water. I knew there would be long days on the water, with few breaks. This pack had more than enough room, without being so big on my chest I couldn't see my feet, or that might get in the way when things got frantic. I like the padded neck strap, and the inclusion of a net-attachment loop was a selling point. Though I never overloaded it, I did have two bottles of water, energy bars, fly boxes, leaders, tippet etc. it never felt heavy around my neck, or uncomfortable - even with my net attached. My nippers, and forceps were always where I needed them, and I attached a PIO Pod to keep debris out of the river. Overall, a very nice pack, only four stars because the tarp tabs for attachment took some getting used to, but I think they won me over as well.
