I bought this item as a Christmas gift for my mother. I was disappointed when this item arrived and I tried it on. It was too big for me or my mother even with the adjustable straps tightened all the way to the smallest settings. I would say that we are average size women, not super thin, but not overweight either. The vest would certainly be too large for a thin or petite woman.

Other than that, the vest seems to be good quality and I would recomend it. The pockets and pouches are plentiful and the vest is light weight. It would be perfect for a man, but it is too big for a woman.
