While there are literally MILLIONS of fly fishing accessories, this one actually makes a little sense. I usually just use the pad inside of my fly vest pocket but this is actually easier. The only problem I have with it is that it doesn't allow the water to flow away from your fly so if you store them, or forget they're there, you will get rust. Overall, I like this thing and wish there was a built in version on either a fly vest or chest pack
