Mayfly Wing Cutter ::: Fly Tying Tools

Comment: Montana Fly Co. makes many good products. Unfortunately, these mayfly wing cutters are not among them. They don't cut-even using Montana Fly's own wing material. I am on my fourth set of cutters, having returned three. Montana Fly keeps sending me new cutters and claiming they work. I have asked for a refund and the cost of my postage, but have struck out. (I did get some complimentary fly tying materials, however.)

If you want cutters that work, get the ones made by River Road Creations. Montana Fly Co. used to sell the River Road products, but switched to its own brand made in Thailand. The River Road cutters, made in Montana, are more expensive, but well worth it.
