Definitely not a "dry" storage box. Very flimsy product. Close and lock the latch, submerge it, and water freely pours in. Don't waste your money.

just be advised that this box, unlike Plano's other offerings in this line, does NOT have an interior tray... i knew what i was ordering beforehand, but when opening the box, saw that although touted as 'Shallow,' the box is deep enough to benefit the consumer with an included tray...

i searched in vain on the Plano site for availability of an accessory tray, but no joy - minus one star

i also searched in vain on the Plano site for any mention of this line of boxes, and again, no joy - minus another star

that said, this box will take a licking and keep your stuff *relatively* dry - it is *not* waterproof, and will leak if dropped off the pier or over the side or into the pool or hot tub

i have this boxes two larger cousins, and they are great - but also come with a tray...
