Ross Flyrise Fly Fishing Reel

I have been a Ross customer for over a decade and have purchased 6 reels in that time.
This summer, I had a lot of people coming into town and I need a spare reel without spending too much money.
Naturally I looked to Ross; due to the customer service and warranty they offer.

This reel was used in the salt and freshwater without any problems.
After all of the guest left I played with this reel and I was not disappointed. The drag was solid and smooth.
It performed flawless; the salmon had no chance. The reel has lifetime warranty and the signature Ross customer service, how can you go wrong.

The only con...... I wish they made these in other colors

I love the way this reel looks and how it feels in action. It's nice and "clicky" (an attribute i look for). The drag system is decent as well. The reel separation mechanism is nice and easy for quick replacement. I would say that for the money, Ross gives you a wonderful and dependable (large arbor) reel for a very attractive price point. I would highly recommend this reel to anyone that does not want to or I not able to drop ridiculous amounts of money on a high end reel, since this one will handle just about anything you can throw at it and look good while doing it.
