Sage uses the same G5 Technology found in all the other Z-Axis rods which translates into a quick loading rod that generates a tremendous amount of line speed with a delicate tip to protect even the lightest of tippets.
They accomplish this by replacing the glass inner hoop fibers with graphite fibers making the rod lighter and stronger. So light in fact, the 11' 5 weight weighs in at a mere 5 1/16 ounces!!
