I've tried nearly every fly box out there in the last 15 years and this one fits my needs perfectly. I switched to fishing with a chest pack years ago and so minimizing the amount of boxes and still taking an arsenal of flies was important to me. The capacity speaks for itself but if you truly want to fit 752 flies in there, they must be about size 14 or smaller. Most bigger flies will cover more than one slit. But if you still want to put larger flies in this box, I have tried from size 6 stone flies down to size 22 midge patterns with no issues. I often wade fish and cover many miles hiking and the flies have never popped out of their slits while being bobbed around inside my pack. And my favorite feature of this box is that it is waterproof. I spend many days fishing in rain/sleet/snow and while my pack gets water inside, this fly box stays dry and I don't have to worry about rusted hooks like I would have to do with almost every other fly box out there. My son did some research for different kinds of fly boxes. He chose this one because it can hold several hundreds of flies and he heard from his friend that the Scientific Anglers makes good products. When he received this fly box, he is equally happy about it. It is compact and relatively easy to open. Most of all, it is small but can hold lots of flies!

The double clasp on this double sided box is very stiff. This makes it very difficult to open. I expect that while I fumble with the clasp, either I will drop the box into the stream, or if it comes open suddenly, any loose flies inside will float downstream. A simpler clasp would be a great improvement. Swapping the covers to open in tandem, instead of from the same side would also help.
