2.0 out of 5 stars only 1 bobbin, February 2, 2012

the product listing shows 2 and is worded as plural, so I ASSUMED there would be 2 bobbins in the package. There was only 1. Will have to ASSUME from now on that plural doesn't mean plural when it comes to listings.
as for the item, it seems to be just like the others I have, so it will go into my kit and see miles of thread hopefully.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad, March 2, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Not a bad multi use bobbin. I use it for tying saltwater jigs using mostly size E thread. It holds the spool nice and tight and works with the small and larger sized spools. I have used other brand bobbins that "feature" a ceramic insert in the tip where they fall out after a couple of uses and become unusable because they cut the thread on the edge without it. This one does not have an insert, but instead has a thicker metal tip that is smooth and looks like it will last a lot longer.
