Umpqua Tiemco 'Dry Magic Silicone Fly Floatant

I was introduced to this great floatant by Matt Guinn at the South Holston River Fly Shop in Tennessee. I was having the dry fly fishing of a lifetime using CDC Sulpher duns, but every fish soaked my fly and I was spending more time retying than I was fishing. Matt told me about the Fly Magic-Frog Fanny combination...put Magic on the fly when you tie it on...then brush it up good with Frog Fanny after each fish...wow...all of a sudden I was getting 4-5 trout on each dun and at least 6 on each CDC emerger I used. It works just as well on a traditionally hackled fly, but it rules on CDC. Good fishing!
